Science    
     

Science at Moon Hall is planned to encourage curiosity and creative thought. Pupils develop confidence and independance in their thinking. Knowledge and ideas are linked with practical experiences through experiments aimed at developing and evaluating explanations in co-operative effort. National Curriculum Key Stage 2 Schemes of Work studied.

Associated aims are for the children:-

  • to enjoy Science and to be successful at it
  • to develop an outgoing and concerned attitude towards the subject
  • to act with reason and good judgement
  • to be alert to new ideas and to strive for accuracy
  • to share with others in co-operative effort and yet
  • to develop independence and self confidence in their thinking and approach.
