We believe that the ability to type proficiently is a vital skill for all - but especially for dyslexic children. At Moon Hall School every pupil is taught to touch-type from the age of seven.

Older pupils are then made conversant with word-processing conventions and are entered for O.C.R. examinations in Year 6 and above. We seek to develop self-esteem, along with the skills, and feelings of self-worth are enhanced by the fact that the majority of our entrants gain distinctions in exams designed for college students and adults.

We have a wide range of typing-tutor software including an accelerated-learning program which offers familiarity with the keyboard in four hours.
