Fees for the Academic Year 2007/2008

FULL-TIME TUITION FEES at MOON HALL SCHOOL:
(any increases come into effect in the September of each year)

Day pupils:	£5,280 per term
Weekly Boarding:	An additional £1,560 payable to Belmont School

Fees cover the cost of salaries, basic overheads, equipment and facilities at MHS together with an element for the use of certain facilities at Belmont.
Small group teaching, individual lessons where necessary, and highly qualified staff mean that costs are very high. However, every effort is made to keep fees as low as possible whilst maintaining standards. We are extremely competitive compared with other specialist schools for dyslexic children.
Moon Hall School and Belmont School are both registered charities and thus non-profit making. Neither is subsidised externally in any way and so all costs must be covered by fees.

MHS FEES FOR BELMONT-BASED PUPILS:
The MHS fee is structured according to the amount of help required. Currently fee levels for lessons are as follows:-

Part-time tuition fee at MHS (Year 6)	£4,896 per term
Part-time tuition fee at MHS (Years7 & 8)	£4,746 per term
(If MHS Maths lessons are needed in Years 6 & 7 or 8 full time MHS fees apply)
1-1 lessons:	£375 per term
Small Group lessons (2-4 pupils):	£250 per term

We remain responsible for invoicing parents of children in our classes of Year 6, 7 or 8 pupils based in Belmont. These pupils continue to be registered with us because they receive ongoing specialist support.

MHS timetabling is complex and can only be effected when the Belmont timetable is complete. Although we aim to send out our invoices at the end of the Summer term, if information is not to hand, we occasionally have to send them during the Summer holidays.

EXTRAS:
Extra charges are payable for items such as:

1 .	Individual stationery.
2.	Outings. (Major residential visits are subsidised.)
3.	Insurance.
4.	Audiology, Optometry.
5.	Extra activities, requested by parents and usually organised by Belmont - such as music lessons, seasonal sporting courses, etc.
6.	Entry fees for external examinations such as O.C.R. typing examinations etc.
7.	Speech & Language Therapy – first 15 sessions without charge; thereafter £31 per session
8.	Occupational Therapy – first 15 sessions without charge; thereafter £31 per session
9.	Smart Moves £145 per term
10.	Touch-typing £230 per term (Belmont registered pupils).
