Pupils in MHS's "Delta" Groups may be there for one or two years according to need. Where children join us at this stage, two years should be considered the norm. A "rolling curriculum" is on offer.

After Delta, according to age, pupils are likely to join our Year 6 class or 7C.

All former full-time Moon Hall pupils continue to receive English teaching with Moon Hall teachers throughout their time on the belmont sight. If there is a need, they may also be taught Maths at Moon Hall in years 6 and 7.

The usual route to Common Entrance is via 7E and then 8E although it is also possible for pupils in 7C to sit C.E. when in Year 8. However, we have arrangements with many schools to take our bright dyslexics with, or without, Common Entrance.

It is not always desirable or necessary for our dyslexic puplis to take Common Entrance in English. It may be advisable to consolidate literacy skills and have the basics following the Key Stage 3 national curriculum.
