| Dyslexia should never
just conjure up thoughts of what is found difficult. Dyslexic people
are fortunate in that they have many talents and abilities - gifts
that cannot be taught. Our children are extremely creative and inventive
- producing paintings, designs, models, stories etc. of which we
are justly proud.
The art work below was created
by pupils of Moon Hall School who are all aged under eleven.

The
Mural shown to the right was created by some of our full-time
Year 5 pupils in the Summer of 1999. Entitled "Our Ideal
School", it depicts the Moon Hall Building with surroundings
drawn from the children's imagination. The pagoda-like building
is a library and, when questioned, the artists explained that
" The front door from Moon Hall leads to the World of Books!"
The mural has been mounted on
the wall in the Headmistress's Office and is often a talking-point
with visitors. |
