Pupils in Years 3 - 6: £5,625 per term
Pupils in Year 7 and 8: £4,920 per term
1:1 Tuition - £400 per term based on 1 session per week
2/3:1 Tuition: £266 per term based on 1 session per week
Weekly Boarding: An additional £1,680 payable to Belmont School

Fees cover the cost of salaries, basic overheads, equipment and facilities at MHS together with an element for the use of certain facilities at Belmont.

Small group teaching, individual lessons where necessary, and highly qualified staff mean that costs are very high. However, every effort is made to keep fees as low as possible whilst maintaining standards.

Moon Hall School and Belmont School are both registered charities and thus non-profit making. Neither is subsidised externally in any way and so all costs must be covered by fees.

The MHS fee is structured according to the amount of help required. Currently fee levels for lessons are as follows:-

Part-time tuition fee at MHS (Yrs 6): £5,087 per term
Part-time tuition fee at MHS (Yrs 7&8): £4,800 per term
(If MHS Maths lessons are needed in Yrs 6 & 7 or 8 full time MHS fees apply)
1 to 1 Lessons: £390 per term
Small Group Lessons (2-4 pupils): £260 per term

We remain responsible for invoicing parents of children in our classes of Year 6, 7 or 8 pupils based in Belmont. These pupils continue to be registered with us because they receive ongoing specialist support.

MHS timetabling is complex and can only be effected when the Belmont timetable is complete. Although we aim to send out our invoices at the end of the Summer term, if information is not to hand, we occasionally have to send them during the Summer holidays.

Extra charges are payable for items such as:

•   Individual stationery
•   Outings (Major residential visits are subsidised.)
•   Insurance
•   Optometry
•   Extra activities, requested by parents and usually organised by Belmont - such as music lessons, seasonal sporting courses, etc.
•   Entry fees for external examinations such as O.C.R. typing examinations etc.
•   Speech & Language Therapy: £35 per session
•   Occupational Therapy: £35 per session
•   Smart Moves £150 per term
•   Touch-typing: £250 per term (Belmont registered pupils)
